Instant PBP question

I love the Instant PBP setting, but I'm wondering if there's a way to slow down the text bar at the bottom so I can see the result of the at bat. I like playing without the 3D animations but the instant PBP makes the text bar go away almost instantly too so I can't follow along with what's happening.

I'm not sure I'm following with the issue. We have multiple settings for PBP play under the game options for Go 24 after you start a 3D game. You can select View>Game Options and PBP speed is one of the settings you can change.

You can set it to Instant and that will make the Play By Play text be instant going through all of the text. If that is too fast you can do Very Fast or even Fast to match the speed of text you'd like to see.

If this is about the animation speed of the on-field players that's a different setting you can also change. Both settings should be customizable to make the game play at the rate you want with the animation on the field being as quick as you want as well.

Let me know what you're attempting to do and if changing that PBP speed isn't doing what you're trying to accomplish.

Thanks
Alex

Alex, either instant results that shows result of last play or a downgrade to 2D.

Instant is not an option at the moment but would be nice. It would be a text game that some prefer.

3D is not ideal for all devices.

I think this is what I'm looking for. No animation, instant PBP, but leave the text on the bottom of the screen so I can see the result of the last play.

Ok, I could see that being really cool where the text is a condensed quick explanation of the play so you know what happened without needing to see the animation on the field. That could be a very fast-paced way to go through a game.

Exactly. I'm way more into the GM/Front Office parts of the game. I still like to be involved in managing each game but getting through them fast.

Yes, please. I don't see the point of animation when you are playing on a phone or tablet.
