Need Help importing game from OOTP23 to 24

I am trying to import my OOTP23 franchise game into OOTP24. When I go into the import game from OOTP23 and click on the world.dat file I get a message that says cannot import this game because it was saved from OOTP18. OOTP18 has never been loaded onto my hard drive and I have never imported a season into the next version of OOTP before. I believe this has to be some kind of bug but I have looked at all the forums and have not seen anything like this mentioned. At the very least I would like to know how to import my OOTP23 game into 24. Thanks in advance.

Try importing the saved game folder from 23. to 24. Worked for me.
