Live Start

Hi,

Hope these aren't stupid questions

Firstly when does Live Start actually start, will all Rosters Majors and Minors be correct. Finally will the extension such as Gimenez, Hoerner, Stephan and Mikolas be correct?

Thanks

I don't believe Live start automatically updates contracts, those need to wait for db updates in patches as we don't get this info from our data provider.

Rosters are not 'correct' in the sense that everyone is at the same level they are in real life, because just like with the non-live start rosters, the AI sets this up. But Live start adjusts ratings based on performance, so it tends to help move guys up and down quicker than a regular roster update might.

Is it possible to give us the option to set the AI not to make any roster moves when starting a game? This would stop the issue most have with inaccurate rosters, at least until they turned off that setting and AI starts making moves again.
Still might be a useful option to have at the start.

Unfortunately not this year at least, because the way the rosters get populated when we build them in the game is the AI setting them up.

I would personally really like to see a mode like you're describing, but this would take a lot of recoding behind the scenes before it could ever happen.

The other slight problem with doing it this way is that it typically leads to somewhat more 'bad' AI moves once you turn the AI on, while the AI tries to undo what it thinks the real-life teams shouldn't have done.

So you have at least a bit more roster churn and more potential weirdness whenever you do turn the AI on than if you just let it set things up like it wants in the first place.

Yeah it would be a nice addition to add.

Very true on the roster churn when letting the AI take over again as it tries to undo what changes I've made.
On that note can we get color coded roster moves in the transaction logs? IE Red for DL moves, another for promotion/demotion and so on.
If something like that's been added then ignore that, am playing 21 atm so not up to date.
