Downloading rosters

Hi all,

I wanted to ask because I couldn't see anything in the forum. Is there a way to download the current rosters used IRL? The team have made, or still making, their cuts before Opening Day, and it would be good to reflect this in a new save playing OOTP24.

My guess is that there will probably be another patch released in the next couple days that will include updated rosters. But even then, you might need to consider comparing the transactions page on MLB.com with the game rosters to make sure you have the latest rosters.

Even when we release opening day rosters, they won't be exact, as things like what level a player is assigned to, whether they're on the 40-man roster, exactly where they fall in the lineup/rotation are set by the AI.

So we'll adjust the ratings to encourage the AI to make the 'right' choices as much as possible, but not to the point of grossly under or overvaluing individual players either.

Live start would likely be the best way to get accurate opening day rosters but even then the AI can take over so can't be 100% accurate

This is often kind of funny, when the AI tries to undo real-life dumb things... I remember the year the Red Sox signed Pablo Sandoval the AI immediately traded him away in every season I started, usually back to the Giants
