transferring between computers

So, obviously I'm an idiot and I'm doing something wrong. I have the game (OOTP24) on a desktop and a laptop. I play 3/4 on my desktop, but got it for the laptop so I can continue my same game when traveling.

I have backed up the league onto a thumb drive, but cannot pull it up off the thumb drive on the laptop. What am I doing wrong? When I go to restore league on my laptop with the thumb drive inserted, the thumb drive is never option to restore off of. I tried copying the restore file onto the hard drive, but that didn't work either.

I assume I'm missing a simple step and any help would be appreciated.
