Financials with wrong values on import from 23 to 24

Hi,

We are having a slight issue where financials aren't importing correctly from 23. We just finished the season, so I imported the game in 24 and then simmed to Offseason Day 1 on OOTP 24. Some of my GMs have noted that financials and cash seem to not have imported over correctly.

I have submitted 2 files into the OOTP league file FTP. PSDOOTP23 and PSDOOTP24, our latest 23 and 24 files.

I don't have any screenshots as I don't entirely know the issue but if you need anything feel free to let me know.

I'll just throw this in here since this is the league I was referencing in the earlier thread. Below is the financial page in 23 and 24. The 23 file is from right before the World Series, which I was in, so had more revenue from those games. The 24 image is from the first day of the offseason.

It seems like I should be able to use all that money, but it does not allow me to at all. I attached an example of trying to extend one of my guys that is eligible for Free Agency, and it doesn't allow me to and shows I only have the $500ish thousand available.

OK, I don't think this is necessarily an import issue, but I am seeing some inconsistencies in checking the financials. We'll clean that up for the next patch. Thanks!

Hi Matt,

Would you have to re-import a v23 save to v24 to see the fix in the next patch or will it fix it in v24 itself?

You shouldn't need to reimport for that issue, no. I believe it should correct itself
