Color Questions

First, I'm running a fictional league. Is there a way to change the color of the player names and numbers and the color of the high socks to match the fictional team uniforms on the Team Settings page?

This is my first chance to get a look at the new version. Maybe I missed this discussion elsewhere. If so, please point me in the right direction. This should be something quite simple to do I would think.

I have the same issue. macOS 12.6, steam version. This is a fictional league I imported from OOTP23. Red clearly doesn't work well with an all-green color set.

Click the red text in upper mid section and select a different team's Font. May be an easier way to do this... but that worked easily enough me to fix all teams quickly, May have to play around a little bit to get the color you want... but in a case like this I would be confident whatever color the A's use would work for aesthetic purposes.

I didn't realize there was a jersey_fonts folder! I think the program defaulted to the fonts folder, and nothing I was trying in there was working.

Also, I downloaded Silvam14's historical unis logos (https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=344905).

That download had .pngs in the jersey_fonts folder, and those work as well.

Now I get to play with those in GIMP to come up with color matching ones. Pretty sure there aren't MLB ones that would work with some of the pinks I'm using for some of the other teams in my league.

Can't click on the red text, doesn't do anything?

This will work. The fonts included with OOTP are .oi files and have to be converted to .png if you want to use them. It was the same last year for any MLB gear, IE jerseys, hats, logos etc.

Silvam's font files should give you more than enough fonts to choose from if you don't want to make conversions of the .oi files.

Click the select button next to the red text. It opens a box that you can either navigate to a file location of your choice or the game's font folder. In the game's font folder the MLB files will be .oi and then a few defaults. Read more about .oi files in my previous post and you should be able to find fonts that will work.

Okay great, do I put Silvam's fonts into the font folder then. Also, how do I color those fonts? This seems to be way more difficult than it should be. Why wouldn't OOTP make this a much simpler process. Seems to me a button to select a font color would be a pretty simple thing to do.

Also, does it change the color of the player's name on the back as well?

You're right, fonts are webp., but they still have to be converted to .png for use in fictional leagues. At least on my compter.

It doesn't seem to like any of the jersey fonts that come with this. It's either the .webp files that ship with the game or you can just look at that default red.
