Graphic Delay After I Hit Swing Away or Pitch

Seems Like The Sound and Gameplay don't match up. The sound play before the actual play

I hear the bat hitting the ball even before the batter swings. What sound/delay setting etc should I set to make the sound match the action in the options/settings menu?

I am getting the same results while playing in 3D with "normal" speed with text-speech and sound set to 100%

If you're seeing this, would it be possible to post a short video to let us see what's happening here?

Also, as always with video or sound weirdness, it's a good idea to make sure that your video and sound card drivers are up to date, as that can sometimes fix stuff like this.

I could reproduce this. It happens when the framerate gets too low because the graphic settings are too high. Can you please go to settings>3d&Facegen and set the Audience Detail to simplified. If that works, you can also try to set it to "Detailed" or to "Animated - Low Quality" if you can still play without the delay.

Can you please check your frame rate? You can enable the FPS display the follwoing way: If you are on steam, go to you ootp24 screen, then on the settings button and choose "Propperties" (the lowest option in the dropdown). Then on the settings page
(General) the lowest entry on this page is a field for command line arguments. Write
"fps_display" there without the "" and close the window. Then start oopt24. Now you should se an FPS display on every opengl screen. Then Please start a game and tell me how much FPS you are getting.

windows says the ave fps rate is 44 when I'm in the game. I don't know if thats good or not

I am having the same problem with OOTP 24 which I just purchased today. I hear the crack of the bat long before the pitch reaches the plate. Any known fixes?

Try the tips Jorin mentioned above and see if they work for you. Depending on your system's abilities you may need to experiment a bit as far as how high/low you need to go find the right settings.
