Love the new trade deadline feature

I had a bunch of players on the block and I was flooded with offers. On the 4th round, I had 13 offers and only 4 minutes to go through them. It felt chaotic which is a great simulation of what I imagine a GM’s office is like at the deadline. I closed a deal with 2 seconds to go on the clock, and it felt great. Nice work by the dev team

I agree on this, I also doing a trial run on franchise and noticed how much more fun the deadline was.

Do you feel like 4 minutes was enough or do you want to increase it?

I don't know. If having 13 deals to look over in 4 minutes is accurate, I am not a fan of that at all and would hope that it can be disabled. That's like 18 seconds per deal which doesn't give you anywhere near the needed time to look into the players involved and then how the deal affects the different levels of the organization.

I felt like there was a pretty darn good amount of trade activity around the deadline in last years game. IMO I'm not sure anymore was needed --- and if it's going to be on a timed clock the way you describe, I really hope that can be disabled.

You can disable it by turning off Hard Mode, or adjust the available time for whatever your personal sweet spot is (1 to 30 minutes).

Settings on right hand side of AI Settings tab.
