Promoting Bench Coach

I am trying to promote my bench coach to Manager/ GM.
I can only appoint as one at a time. I also want the team to be under human control. (I will still control the team). When I go to the manager tab, it is still showing my info, and not importing his.
Any help will be appreciated.

Under personal, he shows as the manager.
Under the Manager, tab I still show up. as the
manager.

It's not possible for the AI to serve as both General Manager and Manager to my knowledge.

So I edited the new manager info over mine. But my history/stats still show up, is there a way to erase these? I am still the manager, but in-game years I am 90 years old, so I wanted a younger manager.

1. What are you set as? Do you have yourself appointed as GM & Manager? If so, you have to change your profile to GM only if you wish to hire a manager.

2. Is this for OOTP23? If so, please post in the OOTP23 Forum.
