Tactical feedback has been a wonderful addition this year and I love it, this is just something I'd noticed where there seems to be some inconsistencies at times. It could be partly due to my own lack of total understanding (read 'any understanding') of hockey tactics, so forgive me if that's the case.
Below is an example of a player who is showing as a 'good fit' in a tactic that requires a player in his position to have 'good checking', right below that is the same player in the same tactic at a different stage of play on the ice rated as 'bad fit'.
Now, this seems totally okay right? It's a different phase of play, he may be great at 1-1-3 in the forecheck and not in the NZ, however, as you can see from his attributes, he is rated a 13 in the category that he is classed as a 'good fit' and he is rated a HIGHER 14 in the category where he is currently listed as a 'bad fit'. So I'm not sure that makes total sense? If I'm misinterpreting something here please let me know!
Also, I've tried to google some of these concepts and also read 'take your eyes of the puck' to try and learn more about hockey tactical concepts but I still cannot find full explanations about these, if there are any resources or if a description of the play could ever be added to the manual for clarity that would be great, at the moment the definition doesn't really explain too much about what is supposed to be happening with each tactical selection (this is more of a secondary ask).
Cheers!
