Historical Leaderboard
Wondering if any of you know the answer to this. Historical game starting in 1901. I want to rid the leaderboards of a lot if not all of the pre1900 players. I for example, I go into commissioner mode and delete Cap Anson, will he remain deleted, or is the game going to reinsert him at the top of the hits list each offseason?

Don't know if that works but the delete history buttons work.

After reading your post I decided to give it one more try. For some reason I got it in my head that you had to start without complete history if you want erase all history to work. It's the opposite, you have to start the league with complete history so the players that can screw things up when they import with full history are in the league as free agents. Not a huge fan of using minors, but I will if I can rid myself of the pre1900 stuff. Thanks for motivating me.

Okay folks, Brad has come up with the way you can start a historical league and erase all history with limited problems. You have to have minor leagues, so all players establish a history and can't return with their entire career worth of stats when everyone else only has one season's worth.
Problem is, how do you go about creating generic OOTP minor leagues that actually play like the period they are created in. Right now I when I try, I end up with guys in the minors hitting 45 home runs in 1901. I messed with the modifiers and managed to home runs right, but then a guy hit like 51 triples. |
