Exhibition Tactics

Longtime lurker, first post!

Have recently started using the 'Exhibition Game' mode. I love the ability to sim hundreds of games in seconds. I generally fool around and pit old dynasties versus current ones, or try crazy lineups and see how it impacts my favourite team's performance.

I have realized, however, that every team will use the default tactics for this game mode (the first one for each drop down menu), which I believe are located in the default_location_tactics.dat file within the Opening Day Quickstart Games folder.

This is troublesome for true alternate history, because my 90s Devils are using the same tactics as my 2022 Avalanche... including an obligatory weird "dump in" + "cycle" mix.

Is it possible to modify tactics heading into an "Exhibition Game" simulation, or would it be easy to add this feature to the game, if lacking?

If not, would I be able to use a custom default tactics file representative of team in historical context if I should create one?

Thanks for helping out one of the wee, but proud, few who enjoy the exhibition game mode hahaha!
