Team Harmony "Issue"

Long time lurker of the forum and big fan of both this game and the OOTP baseball series.

A little something I want to point out that I recently witnessed in the game in regards to team harmony....

An "off ice incident" occurs in mid-June and it makes two players upset with one another, and it is given a rating of (4). Fair enough.

About 5-6 weeks later, on August 1st, I get a notification about a new clique being formed. These same two players who are upset with one another, and still have that (4) value, are now part of the same clique. That doesn't seem to make sense if they are (still) upset with one another. If they are going to be in a clique now, their previous disagreement should be resolved, or the game shouldn't put them in the same clique.

No biggie.... just an observation.

As an aside, something else I want to mention and compliment if it was intentional in its coding. Typically my team has had very good team harmony as most of the guys are character guys and the team has had success. During this season, we had a President's Trophy season and got upset in the first round.... all of the sudden I got the team harmony issues pouring out. If it was meant to be like that, I thought it was a good touch and very realistic. If it was just coincidental, then so be it.

Clique formation is supposed to prevent inclusion of players who are upset with another clique member, but I think I see a logic mistake I made in the design of the way cliques are created that would allow it to happen, we'll get that corrected.

Just coincidental on the second thing. I'd like to try connecting the harmony system to game events, but it's not there yet.

In a similar line of thought, I don't think captains should be included in cliques, especially when you intervene and the captain goes and tell a player from the clique he's not to be part of the clique anymore...while remaining in the clique himself...doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
