Too many goals

Is there any way to adjust the amount of goals being scored? I'm seeing an unrealistic amount of high scoring games in my sim.

Yeah, I've had over 7 goals per game average in my Sim after a few years.. hopefully this can get corrected in the future.

In the meantime you can try and adjust the goals per game setting in the league settings screen

Turn on comissioner mode. Go to the league menu and click on edit at the bottom. First page lets you change the goals/game. (May not work unless you're on July 1st)

Also make sure you uncheck game engine settings on the manager options screen so the AI doesn't change it back at the start of the next season

Ahh got it. That makes sense. I'm having trouble finding the game engine settings on the manager options screen you mentioned.

The Manager Tab, click to bring up the drop down menu and click on options. From there check commissioner mode.

Hmmm, perhaps that's only visible in historical games

To edit average goals go to League, in the drop down menu select edit, then look for goals/game. I changed it to 5 and it definitely helped lower scoring.
