Follow a player

Has anyone created a player and then just watched his career to see where the player ends up

Yeah do that fairly frequent. I like doing Historical games, create a template for a player from like 7th defenceman type or like a generational player, see where they get drafted then either watch their career or take over the team that drafted him.

I think there is an online sim league devoted to exactly this, create any player you want and then watch their career play out.
