Rain delay
Don't know if this is a bug or just an oversight. I've been playing ootp for what seems like forever. I come to the forums often to pick up some knowledge, but I don't think I have ever posted a thread. Every year the new versions come with improved AI, nicer graphics, and improved overall play. But the way the game handles rain delays is something I feel needs some improvement. Today, I played a game with an 11 minute delay. This seems almost impossible. I think delays shjould be no less than 30 minutes. I doubt any grounds crew can roll out the tarp and then roll it back up in 11 minutes. And I notice that if there is a lengthy rain delay it does not affect the pitcher's stamina. I have been able to continue with my SP after a delay of over 45 minutes with no effect many times.

Hey Guidokid1,
I'm not sure how we handle rain delays outside of them being cosmetic events that can happen. It would be nice if they were more impactful and actually caused your team to have to adapt or change. The issue could be that the AI would need some good directions to navigate that well for both the other teams and if they're controlling your team. Let me throw that by the dev team and see what they already have setup for rain delays. Thanks Alex |
