JG's National Hockeyball League

Hockey teams playing baseball. This will be a very quick sim. I will do 100 seasons starting in 1901 with the Original Six franchises. 130 game regular season. Once I get to 2001 I will begin to expand, and the playoffs will just be the Stanley Cup Finals with the top two regular season finishers competing for the Cup. This might be a fun league to use a promotion/relegation system, once I do expand.

Thanks Dale. I'm looking forward to seeing how many Stanley Cups Montreal and Detroit will have at the 100 year mark. They seem to be the two dominant teams.

The Rangers beat the Red Wings in the tiebreaker game at Madison Square Garden 5-3 to end Detroit's 4-year championship run. The NY Rangers have become Stanley Cup champs for the 1st time.

This leaves Toronto and Boston as the only teams who are searching for their first title.
