Incorrect Champion

I have a custom league wherein I have imported all and only historical teams, and have done so in a historical context, starting in 1995-96. It claimed the champions were the New Jersey Devils, and that was fine, as we had no prior history and I thought it was giving me what it had. I finally finished the first full season and simmed to July 1. It now gives me the champions as the Colorado Avalanche (the Cup winners in my league were the 1982-83 New York Islanders). So apparently in a custom set-up with a historical date/finances and imported historical teams, it will just report the real-life NHL champ that year, apparently. No big deal, just thought it odd.

Looks like it's importing the team history when it probably shouldn't, but I can't seem to replicate that specific issue so I'm not 100% sure that's the problem. Could you upload that save so we can see if that's it, or if something else is happening?
