Help me make my draft pick! (pick 2 of these 3 prospects)
I can get 2 of these guys.
Hernandez *seems* a superior more sure-fire prospect but... he's got that ole FRAGILE label. Lucas looks pretty safe as well (well, as safe as the draft gets) to be a top pitcher in the league. Greenway went to college and has had excellent development so far for a 19yo, but he still has a 1 of 9 rating in his changeup that may never reach that lofty potential. His stuff rating can take a huge hit if that changeup doesn't develop. I'm thinking Lucas is the safest bet. Thoughts on which 2 I should get? |

I'll take Lucas and Hernandez. Without seeing the injury report on Hernandez... quite often those fragile ratings don't mean more than a day or two here or there.

I would probably go Lucas and Hernandez myself. With Greenway having that minimal changeup, historically those tend not to develop much.

I like Lucas marginally over Hernandez, due to the injury risk. But I note that, at 5-9, Lucas would be the smallest pitcher in MLB (assuming he has stopped growing). He would be the epitome of the crafty lefthander.
