College Prospect signing message bug?

Currently heading into the offseason of my CBJ save, gone to check my 'unsigned' prospects list (as I always forget to do it before the deadline usually). Going down the list and offering contracts to the guys i want and get this message back from Swanson, he's just about to graduate and it's saying that he doesnt want to sign as he'd rather stay in college this year? I'm a little confused as I had another college prospect (shown in the screenshots - Hughes) and he was sitting in FA after graduating waiting to be signed up.

So not sure what's happening here or why there is a difference between Hughes and Swanson? Obv NCAA playoffs is over by now and what not.

It's technically correct because he's still on a college roster, but the problem is he shouldn't be at that point, the graduating seniors are supposed to have been released when the playoffs end. We'll have a look and see why that's not happening for some guys.
