Non Live Diamonds!!

Anybody having luck getting non live diamonds..i keep getting nothing but live and same ones..Diaz,Henges,Harper,Swanson ..very frustrating

Now that they're basically worthless, I get historical silvers all the time. Live golds are still popping up from time to time, too.

I've opened like 25K packs this year or something - and I can tell you that it definitely averages out over time. Eventually the RNG always goes back to the mean. Patience and persistence - keep ripping packs, lol.

I used to think that 2 years ago. The last 2 versions have proven otherwise. I was certainly a lot happier with PT when I thought things did average out.

It also seems to me the past 2 years of new management have been very detrimental to PT. Markus always seemed more interested in making the game better and more fun. We all love that about him. Now it feels so commercialized that I am on the fence for the first time about whether I will buy it this Spring even to play the vanilla game.

Yeah, it all depends on how much is added/changed in the base game. At this point I keep asking myself "Why can't I just keep playing PT23 for my classic leagues?"

Are you sure you didn't just have better luck two years ago, and worse luck the last couple years? Unless you've opened 10-15K packs this year (at least), it's a small sample. Only big spenders and the very top F2P players are opening enough packs for odds to even out over time (meaning everyone else will be either lucky or unlucky overall, for the most part)

In PT21, which you're saying is the last time the odds were legit, I opened maybe 3-4K packs that year (much, much less than now) and I only pulled a handful of perfects (not including perfect packs) - From this anecdote, the game is finally working and 2 years ago it was broken.

I stick to my original statement: keep ripping packs and it averages out.

I was clearly luckier in '21. I opened 100k+ packs and the cards dropped pretty much like clockwork. That has not been the case for the last two versions. I've 'only' opened 30-40k across my three teams this year, but two of them are averaging over 2k packs per HP, which has worn me down at this point. It's a very disappointing downturn in gameplay because I play for the pack ripping.

This is where I'm at actually, lol. My last 5K packs have been so bad I've basically got nothing for them.

I wasn't considering across three teams (I only play the one team); that makes more sense. And yeah, that's a good a sample size - sorry to hear your bad luck has continued!

And then, when things look darkest, you open your login diamond pack and see LE Bill Dahlen. It only takes one like that to make up for a whole lot of frustration.
