Edited player ratings resetting

Hello, I edited two minor league players at the beginning of a season, and that winter their ratings reverted back to the original. Does this mean I'll have to edit them every year after this happens, or is there a way to stop the resets? Thanks for any help.

Can you provide more information? What is your purpose in editing these players?

Are these historical players? 2022 Roster Set? Fictional?

Immediately after editing, you need to go to the game settings page (Game tab at top of the screen then game settings bottom choice. And then run a full re-scouting. This will update the default ratings. Just to be careful I edit player run re-scout, edit next player run full re-scout, etc
