Help with PT rosters

is there something I am missing ? I have to go and deactivate cards to active others to use in the PT tournaments.

Is there a way you guys can make like the minor league page but the with tournament types and we can make our rosters from there.

Is there a video explaining how to set the rosters up ? I tried letting the AI set up but for some stupid reason they always pick high number cards which are that great of players and leave me with only 5 offense players, filling the roster with 21 pitchers.

Tournament roster set up has been a thorn in our sides for a few years now. We've been clamoring, hectoring, begging, pleading, offering up sacrifices and other unmentionable actions to get a tournament roster setup sandbox.

The best advice for setting up a roster is to find a daily or weekly tournament that uses the same roster setup as the quick you'd like to enter.

Enter that long range tournament, and use the card manager to get your best idea for a roster set up, then use the Export function from the roster screen. Give it a name that you'll remember. You can withdraw from the tournament you used as a creation box if you'd like.

Go into the quick tournament for the roster you just set up. On the roster screen, use the import function, and load the file you just created.

As you enter more tournaments, that roster 'should' automatically load for you, but you really need ot make occasional checks to make sure.

If you can tell us which type of tournament you're entering, I'm sure there are some people who'd be glad to help. You can also join the OOTP discord and ask in the tournament / roster discussion channels.

I just tried updating my roster in Bronze tournament, I have a few better players that I want in there. I made the changes, did the "team submit" multiple times, then it runs, and I look at the roster, and nothing I did was saved!
It just went back to how it was. Do I have to save it to a file or leave the tournament and come back in for it to take effect? I don't remember it ever being this way before.

If you're building a roster in quicks, and the tournament fills and starts the countdown while you are still building, then you need to save what you have to file, exit the tournament, then click on Set Rosters, and reload the file you were working on.

It's been like this as long as I can remember.

Especially annoying when you forget this has been going on forever, like I did yesterday after making some changes to my Iron tourney team. When Save Team doesn't mean what it says....
