major ncaa scheduling bug

ncaa (and perhaps other leagues, i've only played ncaa lately) has a major scheduling bug that causes games to be duplicated and scheduled on the same day

it happened once during the regular season, after a game vs Niagara it made it play it again, but home and away had swapped, and the game counted towards my record and showed up on my schedule list-view (not sure if it was listed before that game day)

the major issue is that it schedules 7 games on 1 day during the ncaa tournament, causing obvious issues with injuries and conditioning

checking schedules, its happening with my user controlled and the cpu teams

There was a bug in the release version of the game that had duplicated games in the NCAA on some days, but it was fixed in an early update. Was the game started shortly after the game was released (Nov. 8), or more recently?

Could you upload that save? (Uploading instructions here.) I'm not seeing any multiple-game days in the schedules for either the current or opening night starts, and looking at some test saves I only see one case of a two-game day where it looks like the weekday-adjustment code may have a conflict with the requirement to avoid scheduling games on Dec.25.

done and done ... saved as "ncaa_sched_bug" ... as per instructions I did not include any of the sub-folders, let me know if you need anything else

hoping I don't have to restart my save, afraid I may have to, but let that be my biggest problem in life...

Wow, definitely haven't seen this before. Conference tournaments worked normally, then it's just gone nuts in the first round of the national tournament and given every series multiple games on the same day. We'll have to take a close look at whatever caused this next week, but I'm pretty sure we'll be able to manually edit the playoffs in this save back to normal for you.

Jeff, can you look at the NCAA Tournament. The schedule has #1 and #2 teams in the same bracket for the 1st round.

I noticed that Lindenwood's schedule is a little off. Since they just joined D1 as an independent, they have a lot of away games, but in-game those away series are home-and-homes.
