Using the Import Roster function question
I'm in Commissioner Mode, and plan on using the Import Roster function to create a new fictional league. My questions are:
1) Does the Import Roster function overwrite all the existing rosters and clear out the current rosters? 2) Do I have to also modify the player_batting_stats.txt file? When I looked at the file, it does NOT appear to have any links back to the Team ID in the roster exported file, so I'm assuming I do NOT have to modify the player_batting_stats.txt file. I wanted to ask before trying it.

When I imported the updated Import Roster file, I discovered that the original database setting shows the database was created with 712 players, and my updated Import Roster only has 568 players. This is due to my new teams created not having any reserve players. Unfortunately, it seems like the extra players from the database are being randomly populated into these new teams created, and are moving active players to become Reserves.
I looked in the players.csv file, and couldn't find the random players that were inserted, so I'm not even sure where these random players are kept. My ultimate goal with these new teams is simply to create new teams of all-stars from the same season, yet I'm stuck on how to fix the discrepancy of players in the database.
