MLB Waiver/DFA Issue

I am trying to setup my MLB team's roster. It is a week after opening day and I have 5 guys who were on waivers (I used the option to let the AI setup my organization prior to the season) and now a few of the guys are done their waiver time and I need to get them off the DFA list.

However, when I try to demote the guys to the AAA team I am told they need to clear waivers first. If I try to put them on my MLB team, I am told they need to clear waivers first. If instead I try to remove the guys from waivers, I get this message.

I am stuck and don't know how to proceed. Is my only way to move forward to buy these guys out?

Me too. I couldn't even find it at first. Clicked on waiver/DFA and got a page of major and minor league players. Top right corner has injuries. I found the drop down and clicked on waivers and injuries was replaced by the players on waivers. Some had cleared waivers but it won't let me remove them.

I am glad I'm not the only one with this issue. Did you find a solve besides buying them all out?

What happens (for the players with zero days left) when you right click them and try to assign them to the minors or release them (depending on your intent)?

See this thread in case it helps,

If I try to assign them to minors (or the MLB) I get this

If I release them, I can do that but it isn't my intent.

I appreciate the link to the thread, but I have tried a lot of those same things already.

Have you ensured that they have cleared waivers and been designated for assignment?

For some reason you end up having to do both if they were on the 40 man roster or if they had a major league contract.

If all else fails you can turn on commissioner mode and just assign them to your AAA team.

you have no choice but to release them if you actually want to continue playing

Just what Iceman90 said. If you try to move them. it says they have to be put on waivers, again. I'll try and mess around with it again.

Put yourself in Commish Mode, move them where you want them.

Then please report this as a bug in Tech Support.

Well I am in commish mode. I have seven players on the waiver list. All seven say cleared waivers. But I can't clear them from the list. If I try to move one to the bottom of the page it says they are not on waivers. They are still listed but I can't clear them off of it. Guess it's maybe a bug then.

I reported it.

You could release them and then assign them back to the team/level you want as a temporary fix.

I found a solution. While the DFA list showed these players had 0 waiver days remaining, when I viewed their contract in Commish Mode they did not. So I changed the days remaining to 0 and checked that they had cleared waivers. Then I could assign them as I wanted.
