How is exhibition mode still not finished?!?

This is what, the third or fourth season with exhibition mode in the game, and it is *still* unfinished. Why bother putting this in the game if we can't control the teams? I've seen numerous requests over the years to get this fixed/finished and I just can't wrap my head around why.how this hasn't been done. Either fix it or take it out of the game and stop promising an exhibition mode that is unusable.

Exhibition mode is going to get folded into custom mode at some point. It doesn't make sense to add a bunch of extra interfaces and functionality just to play games between two teams when it'll be a lot easier to incorporate the unique parts of exhibition mode (like directly adding teams from the database and operating the league in a sandbox-type mode with no finances/player movement, etc.) into custom setup and also retain all the advantages of a full league setup like better stats tracking, stat leader displays, and so on. Migrating exhibition games into custom was on the to-do list for FHM9 but just missed the cut, so it remains a fairly high priority for us.
