Definitely the Spurs. Big fan of them. If David Robinson can recover from his swollen balls.

I still think the Lakers will ride Kobe and Shaq for their 4th straight title. But I have to say, do not underestimate the Kings just because Webber is out. They still have a lot of firepower.

Call me a homer, but I'm sticking with the Lakers to win it all.

Lol, Let me state, my opinion does not reflect what 400's opinion is of the lakers or any other western conference team.

As for the games themselves, its quite obvious. For one look at last years Western Conference Finals, it was quite obvious the nba wanted the series to extend to 7 games so the refs helped with that by making really crappy calls in the lakers favor in the games so they could win. The same will happen this year.

Of course they do, but the lakers also get more than any other team.

Please explain more. Obviously the refs miss some calls, but how do the Lakers get more calls than any other team?

Please feel free to review Game 3 of the first round series against Minnesota or Game 6 of the 2002 Western Finals against Sacremento. Those are the two worst I can think of.

I don't quite remember the games offhand, but I am guessing they had something to do with Shaq running over people. All I have to say about that, in defense of the refs, that it is hard to call some fouls when Vlade Divac is flopping almost every other play. It is hard to tell when Vlade is flopping, and when he is not flopping. If Vlade would play him straight, maybe he would get a little more repsect from the refs.

Especially Game 6, I always got the feeling after watching that game that the nba purposely threw that game for the lakers no matter how good Sacramento would of played.

My reply to everyone who complains about Shaq not getting called for offensive fouls:

I have no problem with the refs calling all of Shaq's offensive fouls, as he does indeed knock people over 4-5 times a game without it getting called.

However, if this is to be the case, then every time Shaq gets hacked on the arm or bumped on the shoulder it should be called too. This happens probably 40-50 times a game without it getting called.

Those of you who are big fans of San Antonio, Sacramento, etc. might think you want all the fouls called in games in which Shaq's involved. However, I don't think this is really what you want. If ALL the fouls both ways were called, Shaq might foul out, but would likely score about 70 points before doing so. What you really want is for the refs to be more slanted against the Lakers.
