SS overall rating less than all components
Ratings 0-100. SS only position
I have SS where each def rating is higher than overall. 65 62 59 59 SS overall rating 48 relative to MLB. How can than that be |

The average overall position rating is 50 for all positions. For SS the player requires better component ratings infield arm and infield range just to be average though relative to the other infield positions.
For 3B the player needs a good arm rating, but range is not as important. For 2B range is more important than arm. |
