1960s season help

I made a league of 1960s Great Teams. Simmed a season. Now I want to reset it and start over. How??

You can't reset an existing game to an earlier date.

After creation and before starting play save it as a template or copy the complete save information to another folder where it won't be over written as the game advances.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?
