Changing a league level in existing game?
I have a fictional game with a league structure created with the League Creation Wizard based on the preset modern MLB option. After simming for a few years I have taken over one of the teams as GM.
On examination, the league structure has no A+ designated leagues so my organisation has the following minor teams: AAA AA A A R FCL R DSL My question is if I change the designation of one of the A leagues to A+ in League Settings (presumably needs to be done in the off season) will that likely have any negative effects? I would like to do this so my prospect progression has a stage between A and AA. I am assuming that changing an A league to an A+ league will mean that the AI will inhabit those A+ teams with slightly stronger players than the A level. Any help appreciated as I've no experience in tinkering with league structures and I worry I will mess up. Thanks! |

You would have to change the reputation of the two leagues, not just change their name. For example, the league you want to be the high A level would be a class A league with a reputation of 10, and the low A level would be a class A league with a reputation of 1.
Whatever you do, make a backup of your save before making any changes. |
