Can't Import FHM 8 Save

How do you import a savegame from FHM8 to 9? I clicked on the "Import FHM8 save" button; the input box came up, but there were no savegames in it at all. Do I need to move them from one folder to another or something?

I definitely have FHM 8 saves, and I'd really like to import them rather than start from scratch!

Yeah, you need to copy the FHM8 save from your FHM8 save folder (typically \Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 8\saved_games, the save will be the subfolder with the .lg extension) into the FHM9 save folder. It also needs to be on July 1 to import properly.

Hi I am having trouble importing my fh8 game as it saved on July 1st but in fh9 it won’t let me import it as it has the window with making sure it is saved for July 1

Can you upload that save (instructions here) so we can have a look and try to see what's going wrong there?
