Please Review FHM9 On Steam

Steam's review system has a great deal of influence on the amount of exposure a game gets to potential purchasers. Good early reviews are extremely helpful in getting wider attention, and bad ones can do a lot of damage in the critical period immediately after a game's release, particularly when the developer and audience are on the smaller side.

Unfortunately, in the past we've frequently gotten a bunch of early negative reviews, often with a couple of hours played (just enough to stay under the refund limit) and some dubious claims in the review itself. I won't speculate on why people do that, but it does happen with unusual frequency. We try to answer them, and some have legitimate concerns, but most don't respond back.

To offset that, if you're playing the Steam version, enjoying the game and can spare a minute or two, we would greatly appreciate it if you'd write a quick review for FHM9 on Steam. For a developer of our size, positive reviews are very important to the visibility Steam will give us, which in turn has a huge influence on sales and the future of the game.

To write a review, you can either do it directly on the FHM9 Store Page or, in your Steam library, right-click on FHM9 and select "Write Review." Doesn't need to be a long review (although people reading the reviews certainly appreciate that), even a sentence is fine.

For those with no preference (Steam vs Fastpring), is it "better" you get a purchase on Steam paired with a positive review ?

For purchases in the first few days after release, Steam would be more helpful to us.

There was an issue with the links not working afterwards if you clicked before they were available - email me at jeff@ootpdevelopments.com and I can send you a working link to the file that'll avoid that problem.
