Free custom recorded starting line up
Since I am doing this for my own custom Yankee's team I thought I would offer my services for free for the first person who respond here.
I will create a custom roll call for the starting line up of the first person to respond with a list. Provide the team name, jersey #, and player names of your starting line up and I will record, mix, and post them in wav. format with their respective names for you. I will record it like you hear in my example or remove any of those details ( if you don't want the team, number ect ) as per instructions when you post. An example of what it will sound like here https://www.sndup.net/k57p/ (Edit) I'm having an issue getting the game to trigger these files in game. I followed the instructions of the online manual as per the link provided below which states that, "Also, if there's a .wav file with a player name, i.e. "Albert Pujols.wav", then the game will use this as the intro for Pujols!" I also changed the file to .ogg and it didn't help. Can anyone provide confirmation that these work in OOTP Baseball 23'? And if so, what exactly did you do to get yours to work? Thanks! http://manuals.ootpdevelopments.com/...tomizing-sound Last edited by Samurai; 11-04-2022 at 01:42 PM. |

It's probably best to save them as OGG files. OOTP used to use WAV files but changed. I think OGG files are smaller. The name has to be the same as the name on the player's screen. So Alex Dominguez.ogg will play for "Alex Dominguez". (he's fictional). Follow along for Juniors and III's. If you use punctuation then keep it for the OGG file. ex Jr. OR Jr (no period)
The player name plays frequently at home games and when a pitcher is changed when on the road. If you use stadium specific folders then the names will play on the road but you'd have to copy the same files to every opponents ballpark folder. In the past the names were played on the road. |
