Import/export issue (bug)
Hello. I was told that I should post this issue here by a long-time, forum member, in case the problem has not been identified.
I am looking to edit stats (not attributes), and I have read and been instructed that this is how you do it: 1. Must be in commissioner mode. 2. Go to league settings and push the "export player stats" button. 3. Go to saved games file of that specific game. 4. Go to import/export file. 5. There will be 3 separate files, batting, fielding and pitching. Open the one you want to edit. 6. Edit stats. 7. Save. 8. Import player stats back into same game. So, I can do this BUT, not all the players show up in the export. The issue is that all players in the game do not show up in the files. Not only that, some of the players that do show up don't have all of their years. I have also tried the "find" option and it does not locate any of the players that I am looking for. Here is what I am trying to accomplish. I create All-Time teams in certain eras. I have a game with All-Time teams with players who were active from 1980-present, and from 2000-present. I am trying to edit any player who had a career year in 2022. Players such as Aaron Judge with his 61 home runs and .314 average as of 9/30/22. I am also looking to add/edit such players as Kyle Wright (ATL), Dylan Cease (CHW), Bryan Singer (KC), Shane McClanahan (TB), Tony Gonsolin (LAD), Nestor Cortes (NYY). For teams such as Kansas City Royals, it is important to be able to add talent because their good players are limited. If you look at the Royals starting rotation from 2000-present, there are only a few standouts such as Greinke, Duffy, and then you have to go back a ways to Appier and Tom Gordon. This is why I would like to add Singer's stats for 2022, because he would fill out the 5-man, starting rotation. So, I follow all the instructions and all the players are not exported. For Judge, I have put his rookie year and his 2021 year in the game and nothing shows up. I have posted this in the regular baseball forum and sent an email to support. Thank you for any help. |
