Game keeps crashing

On an iPad, software version 15.6… get this message (photo 1) every time I try to go into play-by-play. I can get past the preview screen (photo 2), but I get the black screeen (photo 3) and as soon as I hit “Continue” the entire app crashes.

I have already turned off Background App Refresh, and I have only 21 of 128 GB of storage used. Even when I turn off the memory protection option, it still crashes.

I tried starting a new game, same thing. Nothing seems to work, and I basically have a sim game without PBP option.

On an aside, the game works on my iPhone 12 mini with the same storage and other parameters and the phone actually has less memory than the iPad, so I cannot understand why it crashes on the iPad. The old OOTP Go! App never had any issues with gameplay either.

Anyone able to help?

This is a memory crash, related to the iPad hardware. My recommendation is to turn the 3D settings to as low as possible in the game settings. In particular, use the simplified audience setting and see if that helps. You may still get the warning, but if it doesn't crash after changing those settings, you can disable that warning in the game settings too
