How to solve the 2-way problem with Ohtani
I don't know if everybody has solved this issue but I did read that people were having the same problems that I was having. I saw a lot of ways people were trying to get around using Ohtani as a batter when he wouldn't show up on the roster to create lineups.
Here is how to do it: 1. Go to the Angels team page. 2. Go to the "Organization" tab. 3. Go to the "Strategy" tab. 4. There are 2 tabs, Team and Player. Go to the "Player" strategy tab. 5. The entire roster will show up on the left half of the screen. Select Ohtani and drag and drop him on the right side of the screen. A new screen will show up on the right half of the screen with pitching and batting statistics. 6. Go to the batting stats on the far right and select the box that says "use as 2-way." Once you select this box, Ohtani will now show up as a positional pitcher (P) but in the lineup roster so you can now put him in the lineup as a pitcher. There is also a box that asks if you want to use his as a DH when he is/is not pitching, your option. Hope this helps anybody having problems with Ohtani. I wanted to post this to help anyone having issues because others have tried to post to help me with mine. |

I can't figure out how to keep him in the game as a DH when I bring a reliever in for him.

I don't even know if you are able to place a removed pitcher into a fielding position. |

I have two way players in my fictional league and they are all handled correctly. When those players are starting pitchers and they are pulled for relievers, they remain in the game as a DH. On days where they are not pitching they play regular positions. Don't know why it works, but I'm glad it does. Only thing I noticed is that they get tired more frequently, so they need a rest day about once per week.
