Closer not able to pitch? Perfect Draft

I'm at a loss...Why is the closer I drafted limited to being a position player?

I would suggest deleting old .PT files and tournament files using the button located in the Profile and Settings section of Perfect Team. That should make things normal again.

Myself and the team are unsure of how exactly this keeps happening, and we do want to figure it out. I want to know how you came about finding this - do you have a trace file by any chance to pass along that the team can look at to see what may have happened to cause that? If not, can you describe how that happened (i.e.: Did you do anything between the time you drafted and went back in to check the rosters, did you do any other drafts on any other accounts, etc.)

This goes for anybody else who may have this issue - we want to nip this in the bud, and if you come across it, please PM me or Matt Arnold with a trace file so the team can investigate.

I noticed it when I went to set my rotation/bullpen. I knew I had drafted at least 5 SPs, but was thinking I drafted 6. When I went to pitching, I only had 4 guys with stamina above 25. So, then I just started looking closer at my roster.

I'm not sure what you mean by trace file, but if it's something you can tell me how to provide, I'm happy to do so.

So, my interpretation, from what you're saying, is you noticed it immediately following the draft when you went to look? Or did you exit the draft and come back at a later time, and that's when you saw it?

As far as trace files, it would be found in the troubleshooting section of the OOTP settings or the "debug" folder in your game files if you have it enabled to "Write OOTP debug info to file." However, I'm not 100% sure at this point if there would be one from the time period you mentioned, but it's worth a look.

Yeah, it says it can't be opened. Assuming it's because it's not there. I don't have the option enabled to write to the debug file. Sorry.

I'm not 100% positive. But, I really doubt I left and came back later. Reviewing rotations/bullpen is normally the very first thing I do after I finish a draft.

I just had this happen to me again in another league. Now, I'm missing a 1B. I have a REALLY hard time believing that the only 1B I would have drafted was Kody Clemens. I've attached the trace file that I generated.

Have to say, this is really frustrating. Appreciate any help you can provide.

To provide further detail, I drafted this team. Set pitching rotations/bullpen and lineups. Then I drafted a second PD team in a different quick league. Went back to the original and noticed that Bert Blyleven was listed as a 1B. Changed him to a two way player, made him a SP and then disabled two way player option. Worked to get him as a SP. But, still feel like I'm missing a 1B. Don't think I would have drafted this many OF either.
