Promotion/Relegation MLB

Can you do promotion/relegation of MLB teams (like AAA to MLB) etc.

You’re gonna have to go into the league settings and set it up how you want it. Have your top league demote to your second tier league and have the second tier league promote to the top. There are several YouTube videos on how to go in depth into making promotion and relegation saves.

It’s not exactly simple to set up - not just a check box - I would start by searching videos on YouTube. As stated above there are some solid tutorials out there. It’d be impossible to really help without you providing a lot more detail, maybe some screen shots, etc.

I could be wrong (as I've never done promotion/relegation before in OOTP) but I also think it wouldn't be from AAA to MLB and vice-versa but instead from a different (separate) league to MLB and vice-versa. If you promote teams to/from AAA and MLB, it gets weird since those AAA teams/players are actually players from a different MLB org.

Yeah, but it would be nice to be able to modify it to eliminate that aspect of it and do promotion/relegation. It would take some time to work itself out, but it would be interesting to try.

Well, it wouldn't be that it would need modification or take time, but that you'd have to start off by completely restructuring the entire MLB universe and removing every existing MiLB team (as well as creating a half-dozen Academies for each MLB and new minor-league team for their prospects to develop).

It football it works because the clubs playing in the Championship (to use England as an example) are Norwich City, West Brom, Middlesbrough, etc...and not Man United U21s, Chelsea Academy, etc.
