Hiring Managers
The game engine still needs to be tweaked to get a more realistic approach at hiring managers. I am simulating the 2022 season and Cincinnati was 8-30. I fired David Bell, and he was replaced by someone with no experience. Unproven. Why doesn't the game promote within - like an interim coach, or hire a manager from the minors? They have made improvements, but this is still a flawed process.

I think his point was when a manager is fired mid-season he's normally replaced with a bench coach on an interim bases. And then in the off-season, that's when they go shopping for the permanent manager (assuming that the bench coach didn't "win the job"). I think what he was saying is for them to hire an unproven guy, midseason, from outside of the organization, who was unemployed at that given moment is a little bizarre...... |

The AI still has a lot of flaws.
