Weather

Sorry if this has been asked before but can the weather change while playing out a game?

Yes. Rain delays occasionally occur during games.

And the sun generally sets around the second or third inning. It’s the one thing that would impress my wife about the game.

Never really paid attention to the wind speed or temperature once the game starts, but I don't think either is drastic.

Yeah, I always like the different sky settings if game time is around dusk. It also gets darker later in June and July and earlier during the World Series.

Wind and temp are static. At least I've never seen them change. If it's cloudy there is a chance of rain even if it doesn't say "chance of rain". At least I think I have seen rain in both situations. IE cloudy and forecast, and cloudy but not forecast.

I have never seen more than one rain delay in a game, though. And only a couple times have I seen a rain shortened game. But as more teams get retractable roof stadiums it'll eventually become a moot point.

Regarding rain, I have seen the conditions text change from cloudy with a chance of rain to raining before the delay occurs.
