Where art thou, Deven Marrero?

I’m playing the Mets in a live start, and Deven Marrero is nowhere to be found. Hiw is it possible that Hank Aaron is in player search but not someone who actually played in the majors last season?

I could not find Marrero at any level in a player search. According to Baseball Reference he was a free agent between October 2021 and June 25, 2022 when he signed with the Mets. He has some 2022 stats with Long Island in the independent Atlantic League, which is not a league and team in my game. Maybe that explains his absence?

Thanks for responding, Willie McCubby (great name!). It’s weird, though, because he’s been in the majors for some part of the season every recent year except 2020.

He’s been DFAd by Mets already, so it doesn’t matter, except for wondering why he’s missing, and who else is missing.
