Logo Request :)

Hello all,

With all the great logos flying around, I thought I'd throw in my requests. Most of thed logos I use are pretty crappy, so any would probably be an improvement.

Here are the teams in my fictional league. To be perfectly honest, they could all use a new logo, but try to keep the logo styles consistent for the league.
Anyway, here are the teams:

Albany Knights
New Jersey Nine (taken from the Mudville 9 logo)
Washington DC Generals
Richmond Rebels
Tennessee Sound (thinking something along the line of the Nashville Sound minor league logo)
Louisville Grays
Georgia Blaze
New Orleans Cyclones
Michigan Wolves
Pennsylvania Miners
Columbus Dragons
Las Vegas Hustlers
Dallas Bandits
Portland Storm
Phoenix Fire Dogs

Some of these would just need a city name change from Cuss' original logos - like the Knights and Rebels.

Any help would be awesome.

Actually, I really like the logo server. My only problem is that a lot of the logos are shaped kinda funny, so they end up distorted or stretched in the game. The game seems to work well with .bmp logos around 150X150. I'm not very good with paint programs, so I'm not sure how to change this.
I'll keep digging though.

Find the logo you want and then ask somebody to touch it up for you.

Do a search on Logoserver for the Greensboro Generals. It's a simple logo but i use it for my own team and like it.

I for one, would be more than willing to help out with the touch-ups. I'm just too lazy to find them.

Here's one of the logos I'm having trouble with. The logo size is fine, but the dark parts show up transparent in the game. Let me know if this is fixable, as this is the problem I'm having with most of the logos. Thanks for the help.

just lighten the entire by a little bit and the black will stay black in the game.

I set the main color on the color selector to pure black and then I hit "replace color" and increase the fuzzy to 5. It will give you a preview of what will be replaced...and then you increase "Lightness" by about 5...and there you go!

I removed the pure black and increased the original photo to 145 width, then I copied it onto a black background and centered it.

Well...in his defense, there's not a lot of "Jazz" in Utah, nor are there many "Lakes" in Los Angeles...and don't get me started about "Grizzlies" in Memphis.

Maybe the team moved? ;-) I've got Yaks in Vancouver...so who am I to judge?

Portlander,

Excellent job on the Redbirds logo. What kind of program can I use to do that, and how difficult is it?

Here's another one I've been having trouble getting to show up right in the game. Any thoughts?
