I'm not the person to really unscramble this- but my sources indicate that in OOTP23 lefthanded pitchers on the whole are more effective against right handed batters, which is counterintuitive to conventional wisdom in baseball, not to mention the bulk of in-game ratings. In competitive online leagues adequate left handed pitchers appear to be more valuable than hugh end right handed pitchers. If this is by design and I'm just not grasping some next level baseball analytics that's fine, but if this is some sort of NHL '94 checking bug where a rating scale was transposed in reverse, and we've built a well instead of a lighthouse, can we expect things to be patched up in the near future?
