Games crashes(after windows update)

Hello,
first of all, great game!
today i made a windows update before i turn down the computer, before that i saved the game and close the game normally, then after reastart the loading always crashed by "finished loading 64%" and brings me back to my desktop.

Any help?

Ps: I already checked the steam game data for any problems, still the issue.
I reinstalled the game too, nothing changed.
I start a test game where I only start the game and saved it and reload it, that game I could load.
I had a old game, i load that and wanted to try what happens when I save that on a new name an load it. I pressed save current game as, changed the name and the game ist saving and after saving it’s crashed also. I can’t load the new game, what I saved with another name too.

I started a new game, played a bit and the same issue appears. New savegame also crashes by 64% finished loading.

Sad.

You could always try rolling back the Windows update, even if just temporarily, to see if that is indeed what's causing the issue.

Looking at the file you uploaded, it's broken. Even the Backups are nothing. 95% of your files are 0KB's - which means something corrupted hard - and I don't think it's salvageable at all.

As jumpSeat said, if you have a Rollback on your PC, you could try that to see if you can recover your save file, but I'm not sure if that would even work. I don't believe Windows update should have done anything to it though.

However, if you're trying to generate a new game and getting those errors, you need to reinstall your game because something has been corrupted.
