Waivers before the season

Hi all. Tell me, before the start of the season, a letter arrives that says which of the AHL players will get on the waivers if they are not transferred to the NHL team. How can I find out in advance such a player, for example, on July 1, which clause of the contract to watch? Or maybe somewhere else you need to look?

If you go to the player profile page, under Contract -> Waiver Eligible, it'll tell you what year they're required to clear waivers.
