question for anyone

Be great to get a reply from the "OOTP Developments" folks, but just anyone that believes they know for sure.

Because you have the title "OOTP Developments" on your profile does it mean you are a developer for the game?

In other words, is it possible that folks with that title have never written the first line of code in OOTP, and perhaps have never written a line of code period?

Not trying to be confrontational, but I'm seeing a lot of recommendations from "some" of these that just doesn't sound like a developer would haphazardly offer up.

Put it this way, I worked with real life developers for decades (not gonna date myself by saying how many) the good ones kept quiet unless they really had a solution based on having had their hands in the relevant code and knowing it intimately.

For example, a customer could tell me about a potential bug in an application and I could visually see the code in the area they were talking about as if it were projected on a screen in my brain.

Perhaps, and I never thought about this until right now, the "OOTP Development" folks are just experienced OOTP gamers that are responsible enough to use their seasoned experience to offer up solutions they truly believe will help?

Not trying to start a controversy. Just, frankly, would really like to know the pedigree of those offering up solutions on this board. Would help me a lot in determining who to listen to and who not to listen to for suggestions..

You can look in the Credits of the game to see what role each of us has

Great source. Sounds like you're the real deal Matt. Do apologize if I came on to strong in the past. Now get busy and fix those outlandish stats that follow recently traded folks..Joking..joking.

Truly, thanks for pointing me in the right direction on this one. Now I know.

I'm hoping someday mine can say that I am a lineman for the county. That I drive the main road searchin' in the sun for another overload. So far, no such luck.
