Gold pack? Not quite

Here's a screenshot of my gold pack I just opened. Where's the gold at?

I just got a 100 freddie freeman that's actually a 92 so that kinda sucked thought I had an easy 20 grand there.

and actually clearing the cache after i installed the game update did not do the trick I still have a black 100 Freeman card who's really a 92 along with various other screwed up cards.

There are a few card arts that have had issues updating with the live update today. Syndergaard is still showing his 80 overall art on the Card Shop, but he is a 66 overall.

In reality, Overall is meaningless outside of tournaments (card eligibility and cap hit in capped tourneys) and it is just a visual bug. If there seems to be a discrepancy the store will show the correct value even if the card art is bugged.

If you are seeing issues, go to PT Settings - Troubleshooting - Reset Caches (this is good to do every once in a while, along with deleting old league & Tournament files, to improve client performance) and try again, but it should be fixed soon (tm).

Cache reset actually did the trick for me this morning. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again 37 times in 24 hours.

I don't understand the issue. Each live card has a picture and a team associated with it. And each team has a set of borders associated with it with colors depending on the card level. And the card level displays in the shield in the upper right. Why doesn't the software just assemble these in layers in the appropriate order depending on the OVR rating so that the image displays correctly?

Because people would rather not wait 2 minutes for each pack to open, so the game makes use of cached images.
