Facegen looks worse on OOTP 23
The first image is of Joey Gallo's facegen in OOTP22, and the second is his facegen in OOTP23. To clarify, I am playing on Mac. Is there a setting I'm missing that makes facegen less detailed? Please let me know.

There is an issue with the Mac and how OOTP22 renders a facegen file and how OOTP23 does. See this thread...
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...ght=otto+wacha Here are those two facegens in OOTP23 on a PC. Your 22 fg on left, the 23 fg on right. It could be a touch narrower as I look at... but otherwise it looks like the picture to my eyes. Last edited by LansdowneSt; 06-01-2022 at 10:15 PM. |

Here they are in Normal view (I had it zoomed in in the previous post). So, to clarify, they are different .fg files but that's not the issue. The issue is the Mac v. PC.
Even in OOTP 22, Macs didn't give a great rendering of facegens compared to a PC. It's just worse now. Put the OOTP 23 .fg file in OOTP 22's fg_files folder, refresh the image, and it still won't compare to a PC imo. Last edited by LansdowneSt; 06-01-2022 at 10:24 PM. |
